Nathan Parks • Nathan was brought up surrounded by music, and began playing the piano at a very young age. He showed a propensity early on, playing and performing throughout his grade school and high school years. After briefly attending Illinois Wesleyan University, and then receiving his Associates Degree from Heartland Community College, he decided school was silly and proceeded to focus instead on writing and playing "insane music at home with my cat".
Greatly inspired by the great romantic era composers such as Chopin and Rachmaninoff, as well as the atonal music of the early 20th century, Nathan is well versed in a wide range of styles, making him a perfect fit with vonFrickle.
Nathan can be found performing around the Bloomington/Normal, IL area with his two-piece band Citizen Stab, and the solo act Natronicus. He has also recorded some soundtrack material for local filmmakers. Other interests include shooting and producing short films, and a great passion for drawing (the cover art for the latest Frickle release is Nathan's handiwork).
A young man with tons of talent and potential, Nathan has stated that "...my main goals include making a living with music, and being forced for whatever reason to make a nationally televised public apology."
